What this comparison covers
Common Room pulls buyer signals from many places, including product usage, website visits, community activity and your CRM, and resolves them to one record per person. Postelix reads LinkedIn in depth: it maps your market by name, catches who reacts to your company and your competitors, and sends the first message from a colleague who knows the buyer.
Common Room covers more sources. Postelix costs less to start, and where a colleague allows it, the first message goes out from the colleague who knows the buyer.

What Common Room provides
Common Room describes itself as buyer intelligence that turns intent into pipeline. It unifies CRM, product, marketing and engagement data, and its Person360 matching ties each interaction to a person and an account. The signal sources on its pages include product usage and community activity, next to website visits and job changes, with enrichment from a directory of more than 400 million contacts. Its documentation lists a LinkedIn integration that reads engagement on your company page.
Zoom bought Common Room in July 2026 and is adding it to Zoom Revenue Accelerator, Zoom's platform that records and analyses sales conversations (zoom.com, July 2026). Common Room's pricing page now shows Common Room and Zoom side by side.
Results reach reps in Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack and Outreach. See Common Room's pricing page for the current plans.
What Postelix provides
Postelix goes deep on LinkedIn. Next to LinkedIn it reads company news and hiring, plus website visits at company level. It builds your market by name and decides who at each account to talk to first. Then it watches reactions and comments on your company's posts and on every colleague's posts, profile visits on connected accounts (this needs LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator on the connected seat), company page visits and reactions to competitors' posts.
For each buyer it shows the colleague who is already connected, and where the colleague allows it, the first message goes out from their account.
Postelix does not read product usage, community platforms or GitHub. If those are where your buyers show interest, Common Room covers them.
Schulaxshan Arulampalam, founder at random-assistant, on our homepage: "The competitor-engagement view alone makes Postelix worth it. Seeing named people move between us and our competitors weekly is a real step forward for demand gen."
Compare the workflows
Which fits your team?
Choose Common Room when your buyers show interest in your product or your community, and you have a sales team large enough to work them. Product usage data is an add-on on every Common Room plan, so price it in if that is the reason you buy.
Choose Postelix when LinkedIn is where your buyers react and your market is a known set of accounts. Marketing hands sales a named person and the colleague who knows them. If you are also weighing UserGems, see Postelix vs UserGems.
Where each one stops
Common Room needs sources to connect. A company with no product usage data and no community gives it less to work with, and the entry plan is billed annually.
Postelix needs LinkedIn activity. It reads no product or community data, and it delivers to Slack and HubSpot today.
