Comparison

Demandbase Alternative for Mid-Market Teams: Postelix vs Demandbase

01
Overview

What this comparison covers

Teams look for a Demandbase alternative when the platform costs more than the team can use, or when they know their accounts and need the people inside them. Demandbase ranks accounts, runs advertising to them and helps marketing and sales agree on where to spend. Postelix names the right person at each account and shows who reacted to you on LinkedIn, with the colleague who knows them.

The two do different jobs. A team that runs Demandbase can keep it and add Postelix for what happens after the account is picked.

This comparison is written by Postelix. We are not affiliated with Demandbase. We read Demandbase's public pages on 13 and 14 October 2026. Features and prices change, so check theirs before you decide.

02
Vendor

What Demandbase provides

Demandbase says it turns signals into coordinated action across your go-to-market, to prioritize the right accounts and drive revenue. Its platform has four parts: marketing, sales, advertising and data. It identifies in-market accounts, prioritizes buying groups, runs targeted programs across channels and measures which programs drive revenue.

It is an enterprise platform. The customers quoted on its homepage include Zoom, IBM Consulting and SAP Concur. See demandbase.com for the current product.

03
Postelix

What Postelix provides

Postelix starts with the account list you already have. For each account it reads the people inside and names who owns the problem, who else sits on the buying committee and who to leave out, with the reason and the evidence. It re-checks them every week.

It then catches the buyers who show interest and never fill in a form: reactions and comments on your posts and your colleagues' posts, profile visits on connected accounts, company page visits and reactions to competitors' posts. Each one arrives in Slack and HubSpot with the colleague who is already connected to them, and where that colleague allows it, the first message goes out from their account.

Postelix does not score accounts on intent and does not run advertising. It gives you the company list and the roles for LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and the ad budget stays in your own account.

Schulaxshan Arulampalam, founder at random-assistant, on our homepage: "The competitor-engagement view alone makes Postelix worth it. Seeing named people move between us and our competitors weekly is a real step forward for demand gen."

Fit

Which fits your team?

Choose Demandbase when you have a large account universe and need marketing and sales to agree on where to spend. It is built for enterprise teams.

Choose Postelix when the accounts are known and the people are the gap. A team that already runs Demandbase can add Postelix for that part: who to talk to first at an active account, and which colleague already knows them. If you are comparing intent platforms too, see Postelix vs 6sense.

06
Limits

Where each one stops

Demandbase is a platform purchase with a custom price. Plan for the time to set it up and the people to run it.

Postelix reads public LinkedIn activity, company news and hiring, company-level website visits and your CRM data. It does not score accounts on research across the web. It delivers to Slack and HubSpot today, with CSV and API export, so ask us first if your team works in Salesforce.

Questions

For a team that knows its accounts and needs the people, yes. Postelix names who to talk to at each account and catches who engages with you on LinkedIn. It does not score accounts on research across the web, so a team that needs that keeps Demandbase.

Partly. Demandbase prioritizes accounts and buying groups, and its sales product maps your team's imported contacts for warm introductions. Postelix reads each person at the account to name who owns the problem, and shows by name who reacted to your company or a competitor on LinkedIn.

No. Bought intent data says a company researched a topic. Postelix shows which named person did what, and attaches the post or the profile visit.

Postelix delivers to Slack and HubSpot today, and you can export to CSV or through the API at any time. If your team works in Salesforce, tell us before you start.

Yes. Add the account and the people you know. Postelix reads the other people at the account and names who else sits on the buying committee, including missing roles, with the reason for each.

Keep them. Postelix tells you who at each account to talk to first and which colleague already knows them. It also shows by name who reacted to you on LinkedIn. Upload your account list or a CRM export to start.
